4. Is the Trinity scriptural?

Does your church teach the Trinity doctrine?

4. When your church teaches the trinity doctrine as scripturally accurate.
Q. Is the use of any form of a trinity doctrine taught in the Bible? And is Jesus – God?
A. If Jesus was God, who did he pray to when he was on the earth?
B. Colossians 1:15-16 He (Jesus) is the image of the invisible God, the first born of all creation.
1. If Jesus is God, how can he also be called the image of God?
C. Mark 13:32 Of that day or that hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.
1. If Jesus is God, how is it that the Father knows something that Jesus does not know?
D. Some religions pray using the words, “Holy Mary, Mother of God”, Does God have a mother?
E. Matthew 12:31-32 Every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. Any whoever says a word against the Son of man will be forgiven; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven.
1. If Jesus, the Holy Spirit and God are all one and the same being, how is it that a sin against Jesus will be forgiven but a sin against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven?
F. John 14:28 Jesus said, “If you loved me, you would have rejoiced, because I go to the Father, for the Father is greater than I.
1. If Jesus is God, why did he then say that the Father was greater than he was?
G. 1 Corinthians 11:3 I want you to understand that the head of every man is Christ, the head of Christ is God.
1. If Jesus is God, how can it be said that the head of Christ is God?
H. Revelation 1:1-3, 3:14 The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him.
1. If Jesus is God, how is it that the information in the book of Revelation was given to him by God?
