2. What does your religion teach about Baptism

2. When your church approves of the baptizing of babies of children
Q. Is infant baptism proper? Was it practiced by early Christians? Is there any biblical record that you know of wherein an infant was baptized?
A. Matthew 28:19-20 Go therefore and make disciples . . . baptizing them.
B. Acts 8:12 when they believed Philip, they proceeded to be baptized, both men and women. Children were not included.
C. Logic would have it from the listed scriptures that an educational process was necessary. It was a baptism by choice. Faith, knowledge and baptism were thus always connected with each other.
D. So . . . where does your church stand on the issue of infant baptism?
